US SAILING Risk Management Committee
The primary purpose of this committee is to evaluate
and administer programs to resolve organizational and business risk for US
SAILING and insurance for same, through the examination of the possibility of
loss caused by any uncontrolled event. Including, as examples, operational,
participant or member-supported/organizational losses caused by accidental or
unintended injuries or damage from external conditions such as improperly
maintained or operated physical facilities, weather, earthquake, or behavioral
aberrations and other risk to the US SAILING organization, its members,
participants, or to some third party.
