Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area by windsurfing parents, Moroz learned to kite at age 12 and began competing internationally at age 14. She sailed her first World Championship at age 15, won her first world title only a year later at age 16, and has since then taken the kiting world by storm, winning six consecutive World Championships.

In addition to qualifying for the US Sailing Team with her 2021 World Champion title, Moroz was selected for the US SailGP Team and worked to apply her foiling knowledge from the Formula Kite to the F50 foiling catamaran class on the US team. She’s a four-time Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year, taking the prestigious award in 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2022.

Moroz was the first sailor to qualify for the Paris Olympics and went on to represent Team USA in the brand new Women’s Formula Kite discipline, finishing 4th at her first Olympic Games.
