14 US iQFoil athletes are ready to fly in Clearwater, Florida for the 2021 US National and Gulf Coast Championships. 23 competitors from six countries will take the water November 12-14 at Clearwater Community Sailing Center. This venue is no stranger to hosting performance board events, and has welcomed the new foiling Olympic equipment with open arms.
Tom Whitehurst (Pensacola, FL) won the 2021 U.S. Multihull Championship, sailed from November 1-5, and hosted by the Formula Wave Class and Corpus Christi Yacht Club. According to event Co-Chair Ben Wells, the Formula Wave fleet of 77 competitors was the largest U.S. Multihull Championship in recent history, with sailors representing 28 states and three countries.
Last but certainly not least in the 2021 US Sailing Championship Season, Corpus Christi Yacht Club and the Formula Wave Class will host the U.S. Multihull Championship on November 1-5. The Regatta, sailed in Formula Wave Class boats, will see 80 sailors from across the country compete for the Hobie Alter Trophy.
