Morgan Collins is currently the assistant coach at Old Dominion University. Morgan is involved with coaching intercollegiate sailing and participating in match racing events. Working with the Old Dominion University Sailing Team to win an ISCA National Championship is a sailing related goal that Morgan is currently working towards. Morgan’s coaching style is best described as performance driven and skill building.

 

Do you have any advice for sailors attending the US Sailing Championship you are coaching at?

“Set goals that you think are just out of reach and try to meet as many new sailors are possible. You will see each other on the water for decades to come.”

While growing up in Miami, Morgan had two pet Iguanas.
