“There are many sailing organizations that offer adaptive sailing for their members and to folks with disabilities to try the sport for the first time,” said US Sailing Adult Director and former Gay S. Lynn Memorial Trophy winner, Betsy Alison. “It takes a village of committed individuals within an org to make the magic happen, and for most, it is a labor of love!  Each year, US Sailing is honored to recognize an outstanding adaptive sailing program for their efforts on behalf of the adaptive sailing community, and to honor an individual who has gone above and beyond in their support of sailors with a disability and adaptive sailing.”
