SLF 2025 – Know Before You Go
We are excited that you will be joining us at the Sailing Leadership Forum (SLF) hosted by US Sailing at The Loews Coronado Bay Resort on February 6-8, 2025. SLF is the premier event for sailing leadership in the United States.
US Sailing wants to help you maximize your experience at this event. With so much going on and so much to do and learn, please review the following information highlighting the event’s featured attractions, as well as the new app designed to keep you organized and prepared.
We recommend that you arrive at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort on Wednesday February 5th between 12-5pm. Registration opens at noon and runs through 5pm, stop by to check in and collect your registration bag. Don’t miss our Opening Reception at the Exhibitor Pavillion at 5:00PM!
This all sounds like a blast, but what do I wear?
Daytime (General Sessions and Breakout Sessions): Casual
Thursday Evening Awards Celebration (Separate Tickets Required): Coat for men and cocktail party attire for ladies.
Friday Demo Day: Pack your sailing gear and be sure to pack foul weather gear (just in case). No need to pack a PFD; the amazing team at Zhik is providing high-quality, Coast Guard-approved life jackets for all participants.
Saturday Community & Education Sailing Awards Luncheon: Come as you are (or put on a nice shirt). Vessi will be on hand with their awesome waterproof shoes, so you’ll have the chance to try out these innovative, stylish shoes and stay dry no matter what.
Hotels can be chilly and evenings are cool; pack layers.

The SLF 2025 App is Ready for Download!
The official Sailing Leadership Forum 2025 app is available for download on iOS and Android devices. The app will be the best place to view the event schedule, including breakout session timings/room locations/speaker and session info. It can also be used to connect with other attendees for networking purposes. Organizers will also use the app for last-minute announcements on site, so be sure to enable push notifications for important updates.
Tip: To log in to the Nunify app, attendees should follow these steps:
1. Open the “Nunify” app on their device.
2. Use your registered email address to log in and gain access to the events they have registered for. (This is the email address you used to register for SLF).
3. Upon initiating the login process, you will receive a secure one-time password (OTP) via email. This OTP needs to be entered to proceed with the login. Occasionally, the OTP email maybe go to the Junk/Spam folder. We recommend checking that folder for the OTP email as well.
4. Please note that the OTP remains valid for a period of 15 minutes. It is important for you to enter the OTP within this timeframe to ensure a successful login. If the OTP expires, you will need to request a new one to gain access to the event app.
SLF highlights – So much to look forward to!
