29 athletes representing the US across eight Olympic classes will spar with over 50 other countries at the 54th edition of the Trofeo Princesa Sofía Mallorca, considered to be the European season opener. Racing runs March 31-April 5 in the Bay of Palma and is the largest annual Olympic class regatta with nearly 800 boats and boards competing.

After spending a week battling challenging conditions on the waters of Sakaiminato City, Japan, Charlotte Rose (Houston, Texas) has secured ninth place overall at the 2019 Laser Radial World Championships. Other strong American finishes include performances from two-time Olympian, Paige Railey (Clearwater, Fla.), and Trofeo Sofia Bronze Medalist, Erika Reineke (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.).
